Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is set to spend much of his summer resting up after undergoing shoulder surgery.
The Czech Republic international suffered a nasty dislocation in the Champions League semi-final first-leg against Atletico Madrid in April, but despite being ruled out for the rest of the season did make a brief return to first-team training.
However the extent of the damage was obviously more serious than first thought - and he is now set for 10 weeks out with the injury problem.
Mark Schwarzer came in and played the able back-up - but with Cech seemingly out for the state of pre-season Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho might just be hoping Belgian stopper Thibaut Courtois returns from the World Cup in Brazil unscathed.
Currently on loan at Atletico he might be asked to step up to first-team duties in the future.
For Cech however he faces an agonizing summer - as shoulder injuries have a tendency to be some of the more painful on the spectrum.
But he has posted a picture on Facebook suggesting his recovery is going OK - and it looks as though he has good help from his trusted mutt.
Hopefully he doesn’t genuinely think that is his doctor though - because then the pain meds might have to be reduced.
