I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 7th May 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 7th May 2013…
Bye Bye Fergie
It was undoubtedly the news event of the season - as Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson announced he would be retiring at the end of the campaign after 26 years in charge at Old Trafford.
"The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about. It is the right time."
He won 38 trophies during his reign at the club and moved upstairs to become a director and ambassador.
A year later and United have an interim boss in light of David Moyes’ sacking - Ryan Giggs.
What the future holds remains to be seen.
Ramsey roll begins
Was this the start of it all for Aaron Ramsey? A year ago today and the Welsh international won the Player of the Month award for April at Arsenal.
It had been a tough road for the midfielder - who had struggled to make an impact for the club ever since a horror leg break against Stoke City.
But he had been in tremendous form and beat off the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Tomas Rosicky to pick up the award.
It began a run of Player of the Month awards for the player - picking up the accolade in August, September, October and November of this year before a thigh injury curtailed his - and possibly Arsenal’s - title challenge.
Arsenal reportedly agreed a monster kit deal with Puma - ending their association with Nike.
The deal, said to be worth up to £170 million, had not been officially confirmed but everyone seemed to have their facts straight.
Arsenal will wear Puma from next season and many ‘leaked’ versions of the kit have already hit Twitter.
