Arsenal latest: £20m Bayern star linked and Fabianski wanted

Javi Martinez Appearing For Spain Under 21s

All the latest news and gossip from the past 24 hours at The Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger has revealed the team news ahead of the weekend match with Norwich City - and overall it is good news:

“We have everybody available who played against West Brom. We could have the return of Ramsey, he's available again. Wilshere could be in the squad for Sunday as well. Kieran Gibbs will be back in the squad as well. He is in normal training at the moment. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will still be out.

Arsenal are being heavily linked with a move for Bayern Munich utility player Javi Martinez today. The Spanish international is said to be unhappy at his role with the Bundesliga champions where he has been used as a central defender more often than not by Pep Guardiola.

The Gunners, whose bid to sign Lars Bender hit the rocks earlier this week, are said to be keen on a deal in the region of £20 million.

Arsenal are also chasing Diego Ribas. The Brazilian, who only joined Atletico Madrid from VfL Wolfsburg in January, is out of contract at the end of the season.

Santos and Southampton are also said to be keen but the Samba Star is believed to be keen on a move to Arsenal - should Atletico decide not to keep him.

Swansea City are said to want Lukasz Fabianski. The Polish stopper has shone when given the opportunity this season but is set to leave the club on a free transfer.

Swansea stopper Michel Vorm has had his ups and downs recently and Gerhard Tremmel is a veteran so Garry Monk wants reinforcements.

Fabianski is set to play in the FA Cup final next weekend after impressing as the club’s cup run keeper so far this season.

Arsenal trio Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker have all been called up to the provisional German team for the World Cup in Brazil this summer.

The three are expected to make it into the final 23.

Former target and Brazilian World Cup member Bernard says Arsenal didn’t have the money to sign him last summer.

The Shakhtar Donetsk playmaker said:

"We had offers from Tottenham, and according to my Atletico president Arsenal were interested too, but didn't have the money.”
