A round up of news stories about Chelsea this morning.
Jose Mourinho has reportedly still not talked with on loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
It’s unclear whether the Belgian will be playing at the Blues next season or loaned back to Atletico Madrid for another season.
Courtois’ agent confirmed through Twitter that Mourinho was yet to contact the player, but suggested that Chelsea want to extend his contract.
German star Marko Marin has revealed that Jose Mourinho has suggested he wants him back at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder is fully expected to return to Stamford Bridge once his loan spell with Sevilla in Spanish football expires.
“Nothing has been decided yet - Sevilla would like to keep me here, but there are also signals from England that they (Chelsea) want me to return,” he told the Daily Star.
The Mirror has reported that Chelsea may have to wait a year to get their hands on Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa.
The Blues have been strongly linked with a big money bid for the striker, which was expected to go through this summer.
The Spanish international is thought to have agreed terms with the Blues but the deal could be delayed through a request from Diego Simeone.
