A report in Italy claims Patrice Evra could follow Manchester United teammate Nani to Juventus this summer.
Calcio Mercato claims the French left-back’s agent has held talks with the Serie A champions this week, and that he could be part of a major transformation in the squad during the close-season, with Alexis Sanchez also tipped to sign.
Evra’s United contract expires this summer and his future remains unclear.
The defender told the Manchester Evening News prior to the game against Hull City that no decision had yet been made on where he would be playing next year, and that he would decide on his next step in two weeks.
Despite some fans believing Evra is not the player he once was, he has been one of the few consistent performers for the deposed champions in a campaign to forget. He has also been an almost-ever-present, appearing 44 times for United this season.
That said, Luke Shaw has been regularly linked with a summer move to Old Trafford, something that would surely see Evra assess his future at a club he has served for so long.
If Evra does head to Turin he could be joining Nani, after the Portuguese winger was said to be closing in on a £10million move after flattering to deceive for much of his time in Manchester.
