Spanish forward Cristian Tello has become frustrated with a lack of opportunities at Barcelona and there are reports he could join Arsenal or AC Milan, but as yet there have been no approaches.
The 22-year-old fell out with Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino and despite his talent he has started just two games all season, so he could look for a new side this summer.
Barcelona are expected to replace Martino at the end of the current campaign, which could hand Tello a lifeline at the club, but he may already have decided to find a new challenge.
Arsenal are said to be keen on Tello as well as a host of Serie A sides, including AC Milan, Inter, Napoli and Roma.
While there have been rumours that Arsenal have made contact with Barcelona about Tello, it seems that no concrete approach has been made.
"There are lots of variables. Four or five big teams have asked about him but there's a great difference between that and making a formal approach and there has been no concrete offer yet.
"He has a contract at Barcelona until 2018 and we will have to wait until the end of the season so see what the club's position is."
