Manchester United utility player was withdrawn within 20 minutes of the Hull City match.
Has England national football team manager Roy Hodgson been prevented from selecting utility player Phil Jones?
The Manchester United defender, 22, has featured in 35 matches in all competitions thus far this season as both David Moyes and Ryan Giggs entrusted the young player for regular first team duty despite his seemingly young age.
Jones may have been included in any final 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil, which starts next month, however, he was substituted after just 20 minutes of the club's final home match of the season, an Old Trafford test against Hull City.
After a Manchester United corner kick, Jones challenged for an aerial ball but ended up injuring what looked like his shoulder. He left the pitch and headed straight for the tunnel, where he was apparently assessed, had his arm put in a sling and then taken to hospital for further treatment.

Jones, who may have dislocated his shoulder, was replaced by Nemanja Vidic, who made his final appearance at The Theatre of Dreams before he moves to Inter Milan.
