None shall pass: Titanfall maintains UK Xbox One chart top spot

Titanfall Beta

Respawn Entertainment’s giant robot FPS just will not budge, but that may change when Watch_Dogs is released at the end of May.

What will it take to topple a giant? A giant robot, that is. A lot, it would seem, as for weeks now Respawn Entertainment’s futuristic mech-shooter has held itself high atop the UK Xbox One charts at number one.

Whilst Titanfall and FIFA 14 have held firm, there have been numerous shifts lower in the charts, however. Call of Duty: Ghosts has crept up one place from four to three, with Forza Motosport 5 following suit from six to four.

Trials Fusion, released just two weeks ago, has been slowly dropping down the charts, now settling in seventh place. And Dead Rising 3 has shot up from ten to six, with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes returning to the charts at number ten.

If there is one game that may topple Titanfall’s reign, it could be Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs, which is due for release in three weeks on 27 May.

The top 10 games in the UK for Xbox One, according to the Chart Track games chart as at 3 May 2014, are below – take a look.
