Deutsche Bank hires Global Head of Consumer and Retail M&A

Deutsche Bank has announced that Jeff Rose will join as a Managing Director, Global Head of Consumer and Retail Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Americas Head of Consumer and Retail Investment Banking Coverage (IBC).

Based in New York, he will report to Keith Wargo and Scott Bell, co-Global Heads of Consumer and Retail IBC and James Ratigan and Anthony Whittemore, co-Heads of M&A Americas.

Rose joins from Bank of America, where he was most recently a Managing Director in the M&A group focused on the Consumer and Retail sector. He joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 1997. Rose has advised on numerous high profile transactions, including the $28bn sale of Heinz to Berkshire Hathaway and 3G Capital, and the $7bn ConAgra acquisition of Ralcorp.

Deutsche Bank also recently announced the hires of Andrew Bhak and Peter Zippelius to its Healthcare IBC Group.
