A select round-up of news relating to Manchester United

Manchester United were strongly linked with a move for Bayern Munich player Thomas Muller over the weekend, and the German club’s chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has now had his say about the player’s reported discontent.

In quotes published in Bild, the Bayern supremo said, “If one is dissatisfied, he should come to my office.”

Muller is said to be top of Louis van Gaal’s wish-list if the Dutchman takes over at Old Trafford.

In other news, Patrice Evra has revealed that he will decide on his future at the end of the season.

In quotes published by Goal, the French left-back said, “I will decide in two weeks about what I am going to do.

“I am not lying to anyone. At the moment I have not decided anything. My agent will have a meeting with Manchester United and we will see.”

With rumours persisting that Luke Shaw will arrive in the close-season, Evra may opt for a change, although he has also been tipped in some quarters to act as a mentor for the Southampton teenager if he does arrive in a mooted £30million deal.
