Is Bacary Sagna on his way out of North London at the end of the season.
Is this a goodbye from Bacary Sagna?
An Olivier Giroud goal proved enough for Arsene Wenger’s men to sign off at home for the season with a win - and for Sagna it might just be for good.
The French international, who signed from Auxerre in a €9 million deal back in 2007, has just a matter of months left on his current deal - and an almost bitter sounding Wenger recently stated:
“At the moment, the talks are not progressing. We know what we want from him, he knows what is on the table, and that's where we are. The ball is not in our camp any more. It is in his camp, and he needs to come back to us."
It looks as though Sagna will leave - which will be a huge loss as he has been one of the more consistent performers in a very inconsistent season for Arsenal.
And the fans let him know their thoughts after the game - as Sagna led the traditional final day lap of honour at The Emirates this afternoon with his son Sylvain in hand.
And could letting him lead the way today be his swansong?
