Chelsea's four long serving stars posed for a special snap together following Sunday's 0-0 draw with Norwich, the final home game of the season.
Chelsea's final game at Stamford Bridge this season ended in disappointment earlier today, with a 0-0 draw almost certainly seeing them ruled out of the final week title drama.
A victory would have put them one point clear of both Manchester City and Liverpool, meaning that in the unlikely event of both clubs losing one of their two games, the Blues would have won league if they beat already relegated Cardiff away.
Now any win for City or Liverpool will ensure Chelsea can't catch them.
Following the damp ending to Chelsea's title aspiration, eyes turned to the players' lap of honour, having played their last home game.
And it is very likely one sight may have caused those eyes to have teared up somewhat.
Petr Cech, sitting out the game with his recent elbow injury, brought together three special teammates for what may turn out to be a final Stamford Bridge picture together.
John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole all have contracts that will expire in the summer, while even Cech is likely to find his role in the team under threat next year when Thibaut Courtois returns from his loan spell at Atletico. The four enjoyed what looked like a poignant set of photos, intimating that at least one may not be at the club come the start of next season.
The four players have 47 seasons of football at Stamford Bridge covered between them, having played key roles in Chelsea's rise to power in the Premier League.
If they leave, and they'll have to eventually, the question will be, who will fill such mighty shoes?
