The French defender’s representative admits that his client is yet to decide where he will play his football next season.
With Nemanja Vidic leaving Manchester United to move to Italy and Rio Ferdinand’s contract expiring in the summer, the Old Trafford back four is set to look decidedly different next season.
Patrice Evra is another veteran that’s future is up in the air, with the left-back’s contract also expiring at the end of the season.
With United being linked to Luke Shaw and other potential replacements, the France international’s role at the club in the future is yet to be clarified.
Evra’s agent has spoken out about the star’s dilemma and admitted that the player is yet to decide where he will play his football next season.
“The situation with Patrice is simple,” Federico Pastorello told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He is deciding what to do next for his future.
“His love for Manchester United is absolute after nine years at the club, but soon he will meet with them and go through his options.”
United are being touted as major suitors of Luke Shaw, while Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac recently admitted that the Old Trafford outfit have made an offer for him.
Should Evra remain at the club next season it appears that he will have added competition for a first-team spot.
