Manchester United fans react on Twitter to Sunderland loss - "Total revamp needed!"

Old Trafford Interior

Manchester United's miserable season was compounded by a shock 1-0 home defeat to struggling Sunderland this afternoon.

Whilst the David Moyes era ended almost two weeks ago, the problems persist at Old Trafford as a goal from Sebastian Larsson handed Sunderland a shock win at Old Trafford, giving them an even better chance of Premier League survival in the process.

Today's result was just the latest in a long line of of surprising home defeats this season, and the summer can't come soon enough for a team in desperate need a full scale overhaul.

Ryan Giggs couldn't recreate last weekend's 4-0 win over Norwich City, which leaves his already slim chances of landing the job on a permanent basis in tatters, with many United fans calling for Louis van Gaal to be appointed.

Those United supporters were evidently disappointed with today's result, criticising Giggs as well as some of the players, whilst some even pondered whether to problem was even Moyes at all.

Here are some reactions from United fans on Twitter after today's 1-0 defeat.
