Lazio could sell off a number of assets in the summer and Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi, who is wanted by Tottenham and Liverpool, is amongst them.
Liverpool and Spurs have fought over a number of talented players over the last few years with the North London side often snatching them from under the Merseyside club's nose.
Clint Dempsey and Gylfi Sigurdsson both seemed to be set for Liverpool before they ended up joining Tottenham, so there could be some tension in the race to sign Onazi.
At 21, Onazi is seen as having massive potential for the future and he has made just over 50 appearances for Lazio since joining in 2012.
The Nigerian international may have first come to the attention of Spurs when playing against them in a 0-0 Europa League clash at White Hart Lane in September 2012.
But Onazi has been known in Nigeria for some time having been a product of My People FC, a team founded by famous televangelist T.B. Joshua, who wanted to start a team for young men who may otherwise end up unemployed and on the street.
The 2009 FIFA Under-17 World Cup was Onazi's big breakthrough, playing a prominent part as Nigeria reached the final on home soil and led to trials in Italy.
Liverpool and Tottenham scouts have watched Onazi on several occasions this season, so Lazio's valuation will lay down the gauntlet to the Premier League sides.
