CONFIRMED: Swansea City & Southampton line-ups

Swansea Liberty Stadium

Here are how Swansea City and Southampton will line up for this afternoon's Premier League game at the Liberty Stadium...

Swansea City starting XI: Vorm, Tiendalli, Amat, Williams, Davies, Britton, Shelvey, de Guzman, Hernandez, Routledge, Bony.

Subs: Tremmel, Taylor, Bartley, Fulton, Dyer, Emnes, Vazquez.

Southampton starting XI: Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Wanyama, Cork, Schneiderlin, Davis, Lallana, Gallagher.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Lambert, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Chambers, Hooiveld, Reed.

Swansea can reach - or pass - the magic 40 point mark today as they take on Southampton in South Wales today.

The Swans notched a vital 4-1 thumping over Aston Villa last weekend, and after recording two wins in a row, Garry Monk's side are all but safe this season - mostly fuelled by the goals of Ivorian hitman Wilfried Bony.

But three points are still on offer today, and the visit of Southampton poses a tough test - even if Mauricio Pochettino's side have little to play for at this stage of the season.

The Saints have had a strong season under the Argentine, and will be hoping to end the season in the same manner with speculation swirling over their star players.

Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Morgan Schneiderlin have all been linked with big money moves away from the South Coast, and with fans concerned about the future, a positive end to the season is necessary.
