A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.
The Evening Standard has reported that Italian giants AC Milan have entered the race to sign Tottenham midfielder Paulinho.
The Brazilian has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this week, with Jose Mourinho apparently keen to add him to his squad.
Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in the player, emphasising the scale of the competition Chelsea face.
Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa has refused to rule out a move to Chelsea.
When quizzed on the possibility of joining Chelsea in the future, the striker confirmed he’s aware of offers which have already been made for him.
“Chelsea in my future? We’ll see, I know there are offers for me. I feel well here at Atletico. Let’s see,” he’s quoted by the Express.
Chelsea assistant coach Rui Faria has been handed a six match stadium ban after confronting referee Mike Dean during the game against Sunderland last month.
Faria is charged with two counts of improper conduct after his furious reaction to some of Dean’s decisions during that game.
The coach was also fined £30,000 and has the right to appeal the decision.
