They might not be so famous yet, but definitely have the potential to shine in the Premier League.
3. Carlos Bacca (FC Sevilla)
This 28-year-old Columbian international is a late bloomer in professional football. With 20 years he was still selling tickets in a public bus in his Columbian home town to earn some money for his poor family. With 24 he moved to FC Brugge in the Belgian league and this is now his first season with Sevilla where he had to replace Negredo who went to Manchester City.
He has already scored 14 goals in La Liga and another four in the European League where he has good chances to qualify for the final after the 2-0 victory against Valencia in the first leg. Of course he also contributed a goal to that victory.
Bacca started his career quite late but became then better every year. In this season he has scored more goals than Neymar or Bale in the Spanish league, so he would definitely have enough quality to play also in the Premier League.
2. Vincent Aboubakar (FC Lorient)
This 22-year-old striker from Cameroon is said to become the next Samuel Eto’o and showed especially in this season his big talent. Despite playing for the 12th of the table in the French league he has already scored 16 goals and is therefore on second position of the goalgetter list in France – just behind Ibrahimovic and still before Cavani. Four years ago he scored four goals in the final when Cameroon won the Under-18 world cup.
Especially Chelsea could be interested in him as he reminds some experts of the Ligue 1 already of Didier Drogba, who became a legend at the Stamford Bridge. So far it wouldn’t be too expensive to sign him but this could change if he plays a good World Cup with Cameroon.
1. Ciro Imobile (FC Torino)
This 24-year-old Italian striker plays an excellent season for Torino and is leading in the Serie A goalgetter list with 20 goals in 30 season appearances. He might not be such an insider tipp anymore as some bigger teams have already showed interest in him. Especially Dortmund is eager to sign him and apparently the player could also imagine to play in the Bundesliga.
However, if he receives an offer from a big Premier League team, then he might just want to consider it. Undoubtly he has the potential to be a strong asset to any team in the Premier League.
