There was plenty of interest in the Chelsea v Atletico Madrid game yesterday - as many a big name from the world of football was in attendance to watch Los Colchoneros make it to the Champions League final after a 3-1 win over their London rivals.
Perhaps the biggest name in attendance was Diego Maradona.
The Argentine legend was watching the game with his daughter and he was not going to get out of Stamford Bridge without having to stop for a photo or two - one of which was with a Chelsea player.
Of course it was not one of the lads in action against Atleti - but rather one who has been sent out on loan by the club for the past two seasons.
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku was at West Brom last season and Everton this - and he has banged in the goals at both clubs.
Last night however the discarded Chelsea striker was in attendance to watch his potential future team-mates and a friend in Thibaut Courtois in action against Atletico. Of course he and Courtois are two of the highest rated talents in world football - and both are contracted to Chelsea.
But no matter how much of a rising star the big money striker is there is nothing like meeting an icon.
And he stopped to get a photo opportunity with the former Napoli star.
Don’t expect to ever see Lukaku, with his towering frame, going on the sort of mazy run that Maradona once did.
But he still has all the potential to bag goals galore either in Chelsea blue or wherever he ends up.
