Upcoming games for PS Vita – May 2014

Sony’s handheld has a few solid games coming out next month, including Gearbox and 2K’s Borderlands 2, and the God of War Collection.

Continuing to bolster their already large selection of games across both of their console platforms, the PS Vita is no exception with some solid titles due out next month. We've also had a look at which games you should definitely be looking to get over here too. Have a look-see at the games below, and tell us which you'll be picking up.

Coming to PS Vita in May

God of War Collection – 9 May 2014

This collection includes both God of War and God of War 2, letting you re-live the amazing Greek mythology-based game on your handheld Vita system. The games cast you as Kratos, a Spartan who sets forth on an adventure that takes him to the very peak of Mount Olympus, and to the very depths of the Underworld. For fans of third-person combo combat, with brutal enemies, and a story that is awash with mythological references in Greek mythos, then God of War is for you. Have a look at the trailer below.

Borderlands 2 – 23 May

Gearbox Software and 2K Games popular FPS RPG world of Borderlands comes to Vita later next month. As a Vault Hunter on a planet called Pandora, you’ll encounter Handsome Jack, the villain of game, as he blows up the train you’re train you’re on. Along with your robot friend Claptrap, you’ll need to take down Handsome Jack whilst investigating rumours of a new Vault hidden on the planet. The Vita version also includes 6 DLC packs. Mind Zero – 28 May (PSN)

Originally released in Japan last year, Mind Zero is an RPG that sounds very similar to the much-loved Persona series, and that’s no bad thing.The game takes place within two worlds, the ‘Outer Realm’, where humans reside, and the ‘Inner Realm’, where MINDs rule. MINDs are aggressive beings that can be linked to humans in the Outer Realm, for them to control them for use in battle. Have a gander at the trailer for the game below, which gives very little away.

Soul Sacrifice Delta – 14 May

An expanded version of last year’s Soul Sacrifice, this new version of the game will come complete with a bunch of new content and enhancements. Plus, if you’ve already played through Soul Sacrifice, you can transfer your save data into Delta and continue on. The trailer for the game is below.
