But don't get too excited - he is simply getting fit for his testimonial next week.
Obviously don’t get too excited.
The cartilage free captain is joining in with the boys for some light sessions to get himself match fit for his testimonial game on the 12th May.
King spent his entire career at Tottenham and is considered one of the most naturally gifted centre backs England have ever produced.
Unfortunately for King his career was plagued by injuries and in 2012 he announced his retirement from the club - moving upstairs to become a club ambassador.
But he has kept himself in good shape - and now, aged 33, he is getting involved in Tim Sherwood’s sessions - and will also take part in an open training session on Bank Holiday Monday.
He told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website:
“It will also be good to be amongst the lads again, as that is one of the things I miss most about playing, and it will be a good insight for the fans who attend the Open Training session on Monday.”
