Demba Ba is something of a Fenerbahce fan - could he be playing their next season?
Back in January plenty of teams were said to be looking into the possibility of signing Demba Ba from Chelsea after what had been a difficult beginning to his career at Stamford Bridge.
The Senegalese striker joined The Blues from Newcastle United in January 2013 for a reported fee of £7 million. He came to alleviate a striking problem at Stamford Bridge - and considering his record at Newcastle United hopes were high of a potential free-scoring run in West London.
That did not prove to be the case - and instead he looked like being on his way out of Chelsea at the start of the year.
Reports that Arsenal made a loan move came out late in the day bit Chelsea kept hold of him - despite some very late interest from Turkey.
The Turkish window does not shut until a little after the English one - and reports that Fenerbahce were keen on signing him soon gathered momentum.
Ba has been pictured in a Fener top before and moving to Turkey would certainly have been something he would have considered owing to his Islamic beliefs.
And at the weekend he was again showing his support for Fener and his Senegalese team-mate Moussa Sow - as they wrapped up a 19th Turkish Super Lig title…

But Chelsea will be glad they didn’t sell him in February. He has scored some crucial goals in the latter part of this season - not least the opener against Liverpool at the weekend.
Whether he will stick around this summer is yet to be seen - but keep playing as he is and it will be hard to let him go.
No matter who comes calling.
