A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mirror claims Tottenham are keen on the idea of Mauricio Pochettino coming in over the summer.

Tim Sherwood recently slammed speculation over his job at the club, where he continues to be tipped for a summer exit.

Pochettino may opt for the move if Southampton sell off key members of his first team squad this summer.

Former Tottenham man Clive Allen believes that Carlo Ancelotti would be a better bet as the club’s next manager.

The Real Madrid coach could win the Champions League this season with Los Blancos but Allen has said he’d bet on the Italian becoming next manager.

“If I was a betting man I'd have my money on Carlo Ancelotti. There won't be just the one option, because if was Van Gaal was on their list, that's gone now, his move to Man United looks to be done,” he told talkSPORT.

The Daily Mail claims Inter Milan are the latest side to start watching Tottenham centre-back Jan Vertonghen.

The Belgian has been linked with a summer exit ever since he refused to rule out leaving the club earlier this season for Champions League football.

However, there is hope for Spurs if Inter make a formal offer as they are unlikely to offer him what he wants in terms of European football.
