Report: Man United and Arsenal need to up ante for Cuadrado

Fiorentina fans

It is being suggested that Manchester United and Arsenal are at risk of losing the bidding war for Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado.

Fiorentina's Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado has been one of Serie A's top performers this season and looks likely to move on in the summer.

Cuadrado has been magnificent for the Viola and they are set to buy the remaining 50 percent of his rights from Udinese.

While Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has insisted that he would like to keep Cuadrado at the club, he has admitted that the Tuscans would be unable to turn down a sizeable bid.

A number of European clubs are said to be ready to step in with Russian giants Zenit Saint Petersburg having allegedly already prepared a mammoth offer.

Amongst Cuadrado's suitors are Manchester United and Arsenal, but Italian newspaper La Nazione reports that the English sides are at risk of losing the bidding war.

The paper believes that Barcelona are willing to offer close to £25m while Bayern Munich could go still higher in an attempt to beat Zenit.

La Nazione insists that Manchester United and Arsenal are unwilling to go above the £16m mark and could be out of the running.
