PlayStation Access interview with the Lead Game Designer of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs shows off mini-games, including a giant robotic spider.

Dualshockers has reported on an interview from PlayStation Access, which reveals new gameplay footage and details surrounding Watch_Dogs. In the interview with Lead Game Designer, Danny Belanger, we hear of how the game has been progressing since its delayed release from November last year.

The footage reveals how the game’s driving and vehicles were the first aspect that was worked on. They also explore how the smart phone functions, by customising your music playlist, and ordering cars, amongst other operations. Belanger talks about “augmented reality” mini-games such as “Invasion” in which you have to shoot aliens with an AR gun. Other mini-games talked of are “D-Trips,” (digital-trips) as Danny explains, which “affect your brainwaves and make you kind of hallucinate a parallel world.”

Watch_Dogs is one of the most anticipated releases of 2014, and will be available on 27 May for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Wii U.
