Playstation Instant Game Collection free games for May

Pro Evo Soccer 2014 Screen 1

Sony Playstation Plus members can enjoy Pro Evo Soccer 2014, and Limbo amongst others, throughout May.

Sony have revealed May 2014’s choice of titles for Playstation Plus members. With the ever-growing list of games available to purchase, as well as download freely in the Instant Game Collection, Playstation Network have been steadily pulling ahead from the lagging Xbox Live and their Games With Gold platform.

We’ve broken down what’s available to you by console below.

Playstation 4 owners will have access to Stick it to the Man! This vibrant paper-style game will put you in the role of hard hat tester Ray, who ends up having an accident. He wakes up one day with a large pink arm jutting out of his head that allows him to read other peoples’ minds to change his paper world using stickers, tearing and folding it to tackle puzzles.

Playstation 3 owners get access to three games; Puppeteer, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, and Skullgirls Encore.

Puppeteer is a side-scrolling platformer set in a puppeteer’s theatre where you control a boy called Kutaro. Kutaro has been transformed into a puppet, and rather morbidly had his head torn off – but having no head has its advantages, as you’ll be able to find new heads complete with unique abilities throughout the game to replace your own.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 (PES 2014) needs little introduction. The latest in the long-running Pro Evolution Soccer series from Konami, PES 2014 will allow you to drive your favourite teams to victory in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and more.

Skullgirls Encore is the updated version of the original Skullgirls game, which includes new stages, music, gameplay changes and more. This 2D fighting game revolves around the quest to find the ‘Skull Heart’, a much longed for trinket that can grant any woman’s wish.

And finally we come to the PS Vita, and Limbo. Limbo is a 2D side-scrolling platformer set in a silhouette world where death lies at every turn. You must guide the unnamed boy through creepy world environments working your way through puzzles and avoiding traps. Limbo won many awards after its release in 2010 and we highly recommend you give it a try.
