Tottenham Hotspur travel to Stoke City knowing they have Europa League qualification in their own hands.
Despite Manchester United likely to be resurgent under the influence of Ryan Giggs, Spurs need only win their last three matches to finish above them; although that may be easier said than done.
They start with a visit to the Britannia Stadium, where they have a decent record against the Potters.
Stoke have won two of the five home Premier League encounters between the two sides, with today’s visitors triumphant on the other three occasions. And if you are thinking of betting on the score-line, you should not look past 2-1, as that has been the result every time they have faced each other at this stadium.
Stoke are on the verge of making some history, with the side on a four-game winning streak at home and never having clocked-up five straight home wins in the top flight. But only three clubs have a better away record than Tottenham, so it will be interesting to see how today’s game pans out.
What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
