Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking at a number of transfer options this summer for Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger reportedly has a shopping list for this summer, a rather big one.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the Gunners boss is watching no fewer than eight players as he mulls over whether to go all out, making big investments to drive Arsenal back to the top of English football.

Arsenal fans have been told all season long that the club is sitting on a lovely pile of cash which the boss can use to improve the squad so who are the right players in question?

Calum Chambers (Southampton)

The young Southampton right-back could be a very good addition to the squad, if Bacary Sagna turns his back on the side at the end of the season.

Lars Bender (Bayer Leverkusen)

A common idea among Arsenal fans is that the Gunners need more fight and bite in front of their back four and Bender could be the man to provide just that.

Hakan Calhangolu (Hamburg)

A decent attacking option for Wenger, the Turk is being coveted by several European sides, with Liverpool also thought to be interested.

Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid)

A familiar name for any Gooney who follows Arsenal transfer news regularly. His chances of first team football at Real Madrid don’t seem to have improved this season.

Josip Drmic (Nuremberg)

A tally of 16 goals in 30 appearances for the Bundesliga side this season seems to have created a lot of interest from North London in the 21-year-old.

Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich)

A more experienced attacking option and someone who could realistically leave Bayern Munich this summer due to the impending arrival of Robert Lewandowski.

Julian Draxler (FC Schalke)

Arsenal tried to sign Draxler at the back end of last winter’s transfer window. A move could be on if the Gunners are willing to pay his buy-out clause.

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

Arsenal’s interest in the Frenchman was well publicised at the start of the season. A deal could happen but would probably rely on Real Madrid signing a replacement first.
