Manchester United's squad is expected to undergo major changes this summer, with big names being linked by the media.
So far it is left-backs, central midfielders and strikers being suggested for moves to Old Trafford, which has ignored the glaring need for improvement in wide areas.
It's no secret Ashley Young and Nani have not been up to scratch, while Antonio Valencia is solid rather than spectacular. Wilfried Zaha must simply hope for a clean slate.
There may just be a perfect candidate to improve them. Alexis Sanchez of Barcelona.
The Chilean was a transfer target for United prior to signing in Spain, with both Manchester clubs attempting to lure him from Udinese.
He has had a mixed time in Spain, struggling to win over fans, and just this week 52 per cent of them have voted in a Marca newspaper poll that Sanchez should be sold this summer.
FIFA agent Alessandro Canovi told Italian website TMW that he expects Sanchez to leave this summer, stating: "For me Sanchez and Fabregas could leave."
This season has been a productive one for the South American. Playing as a wide right forward, he has contributed 17 goals in La Liga competition, and provided 10 assists, 19 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.
He has just one goal in his last 10 games however, and none in his last nine, which explains the current negativity towards his future at the club from fans.
There is no doubt however regarding his talent, and at just 25-years-old he has plenty of top level football left in him, and may not yet have peaked.
In 84 La Liga games for Barcelona he has scored 37 goals and contributed 27 assists, an impressive ratio by anybody's standards.
If Manchester United want to transform their attack, and stick a top class wide man like Alexis Sanchez out on the wing, rather than a central playmaker like Juan Mata, the results may just be significantly improved.
