Arsenal can't afford to take their eye off the ball this current season just yet, but the rumour mill is already suggesting additions for the next.
Ranging from the exciting Antoine Griezmann to the improbable Tom Cleverley, the Gunners have already been linked with their fair share, but is there one player who is more likely than most?
That would be Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, the fleet footed winger who could instantly fill a position of need on the left for the Gunners.
The Spaniards have just had their transfer ban deferred for a year, meaning activity is likely to be busy at the club this summer, which will place Tello in an even more tenuous position.
He has started just two La Liga games all season, and it was reported earlier this week that Barcelona are happy to cash in on the winger, inviting offers of £8 million plus. AC Milan and Liverpool are also said to be interested. Tello has a release clause in his contract of €25 million, but it's considered likely they will not hold out for this figure.
Arsene Wenger scouted Tello earlier in the season, going to watch a Copa del Rey game where he did start - and timed his visit perfectly with the one-cap Spanish international firing in a hat-trick.
This season has been a clear backwards step for the winger, who refuted talk of a January exit by stating he wanted t give it until the end of the season to see if his prospects improved.
This hasn't happened, despite scoring his first La Liga goal of the season as a late substitute last month, the longest appearance he has made in a league game since early February is 16 minutes.
So the situation can be summed up as a player who is keen to move, a player Barcelona are open to selling, and a player Arsene Wenger is said to want.
A perfect storm for a potential summer transfer, and securing an exciting attacker who hasn't been given a fair opportunity so far in his career.
