A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Thursday evening.
Tottenham are said to be considering appointing recently sacked Manchester United manager David Moyes as Head Coach for next season.
The London Evening Standard reports that Chairman Daniel Levy is still a fan of the Scot despite leading United to their lowest Premier League finish and points total. Louis Van Gaal – who is touted as a potential successor to Moyes at Old Trafford – is said to command a bigger salary than that of the former Everton manager, as the club weighs up its options ahead of next season.
The 27-year-old is believed to have attracted the attentions of several Serie A clubs including Juventus, Roma and AC Milan.
Midfielder Paulinho has been talking about his goalscoring exploits this season as he notched up his seventh for the club last weekend in the 3-1 win over Fulham at White Hart Lane.
He told the club’s website: “It’s my first season in the Premier League, I've played a lot of games and yes, I’m happy with seven goals.
“Everyone knows the first season (in the Premier League) is difficult. It’s a change of football after playing in Brazil, a change of lifestyle and I’m delighted to score seven goals.”
