Entertainment- level in Madrid low You should have seen my win 12-10 in TableTennis vs Ronny Deila before the game. pic.twitter.com/l4uHVK9ynn— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) April 22, 2014
Bundesliga expert and TV pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft has suggested that his table tennis game before the Champions League clash between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea last night was more entertaining than the game itself.
Fjortoft went head-to-head with colleague Ronny Delia before his live broadcast last night and posted a picture during the game suggesting that head-to-head was more entertaining than the one at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.
Chelsea won’t care one little bit what Fjortoft or anyone else thought of their performance because they are still well in the tie.
Jose Mourinho would have liked an away goal but he went to Spain with a clear game plan and ideas over how to stay in the contest and his side got through to the second leg, where they will enjoy home advantage.
Fjortoft later posted a Tweet asking Real Madrid for a single shot on goal in this evening’s game against Bayern Munich, poking further fun at the 0-0 which panned out last night.
Dear Madrid! I am travelling to you tomorrow. Can you please give me some more entertainment than today? One shot at goal will do me— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) April 22, 2014
