Tottenham Hotspur morning news: Odds on Moyes as next Spurs boss slashed, three clubs interested in Sandro

A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

The odds on David Moyes becoming the next Tottenham Hotspur manager have been slashed following speculation he could leave Manchester United yesterday.

Moyes has been tipped for the top job at White Hart Lane as he’s expected to be sacked by United before the end of the week.

Moyes has overseen a United side which has dropped from first to seventh in the Premier League from last season.

In transfer news, three clubs from Serie A are thought to be interested in signing Spurs midfielder Sandro.

Speculation over the early part of this week has suggested that the holding player could leave the club this summer.

Sandro was left out of the match day squad for last weekend’s game against Fulham for technical reasons.

In terms of players who could be arriving, Manchester United’s Danny Welbeck continues to be linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

Welbeck has been confined to a wider role in United’s attack over a more preferred central position.

The forward could well follow Moyes wherever the Scot goes as Moyes recently admitted Welbeck was an important player to him.
