Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has recently made headlines after quotes from his club manager Tim Sherwood suggested he was “not good enough” to currently play in the first-team.
It was a shocking and candid comment from a man who is being tipped to leave White Hart Lane at the end of the season. But he may not be the only one, with Sandro also linked with a move away.
The report also states that Sandro likes Italy and wants to play Champions League football, before adding that the player is keen to regain his place in the Brazilian national team.
Inter Milan have also been linked with a possible move for a man who has made just 15 Premier League appearances so far this season. But it seems Rafa Benitez’s side could be in the box-seat if Daniel Levy sanctions a move.
The report does however add that Sandro is just one of the midfielders on the list of the former Liverpool and Chelsea boss, so whether he ultimately makes the move could depend on the fee requested for a player whose contract runs until the summer of 2016.
