PHOTO: Abou Diaby all smiles as he's back to action for Arsenal

Arsenal's most injury hit player Abou Diaby is finally making his comeback.

As we predicted a week ago, Abou Diaby has been named as a starter in Arsenal's under-21 match with Chelsea.

The Frenchman has not played in more than a year, since suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during training in March 2013.

It was the latest in a long line of injuries which have plagued the midfielder's career and stopped him becoming the force he was expected to.

In truth few expected Diaby to play at all this season, and he only returned to training this month, yet has said he has not given up entirely on his dream of making France's World Cup squad.

He is pictured above in the dressing room ahead of the game for Arsenal's under-21 side at The Emirates, and yes, hopefully he can come through it unscathed.
