Etienne Capoue was back in training this morning to the delight of many Tottenham fans, however record signing Erik Lamela appears no closer to a return.
He will be keen to get back to full fitness as soon as possible in order to win a place in the France World Cup squad.
He has won seven-caps since his debut in August 2012 and it was assumed that he would be on the plane to Brazil. However, his injury along with his disjointed season has cast his place in the squad into fresh doubt.
Capoue played for a spell as emergency centre-back during an injury crisis, and is yet to get a run of games to show what he can do in midfield, after also suffering an injury which kept him out for two months early in he season.
Nevertheless, the Tottenham fans appear happy about his return and look encouraged to hopefully see him once again before the season ends. Although, Sherwood has categorised it as doubtful.
