Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Logo

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a first person adventure game set during the end of the world. The game is exclusive to the PlayStation 4.

We have seen many games set in post-apocalyptic environments, Alien Invasions, Zombie Outbreaks, Nuclear Holocausts and the like. However, the apocalypse that we are introduced to in this upcoming title could mean the end of all mankind where the story begins at the end of the world.

The Chinese Room; the developers of Dear Esther and SCE Santa Monica Studio present Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. The game is set not too long before present day and will take place during 1984 in a village in Shropshire, England. It will also feature a large open world so expect to explore the locales.

The game as far as we know will be single-player and story driven.  It is going to revolve around six main characters each with their own story lines and each connected to certain landmarks around the world which evolve during the progression if the game. There will be many interactive elements, such as manipulation of objects and the ability to open and close doors, you will also be able to influence the events that take place.

Although the game was initially announced for Microsoft Windows, it is now clear that the game is a PS4 exclusive, it will run on CryEngine 3 which explains why the graphics are so incredible. Currently standing not a lot is known about this title, but we intend on keeping you updated.
