This injury comes at the worst possible time for the Merseyside club. With a top four finish hanging in the balance the club will now be forced to play out the remainder of the season without one of their star players – who was incidentally on the verge of hitting his best form..
Mirallas has missed just three matches all season, proving himself as one of the Toffee’s most influential attacking players. In light of his recent injury, the club will be losing both their most creative player and second highest scorer, behind only fellow compatriot Romelu Lukaku.
