A round up of news stories this morning about Arsenal.

The Express has claimed that Real Madrid are ready to sell Karim Benzema to Arsenal.

Los Blancos reportedly want to use the French forward to generate funds to launch an offer for Liverpool superstar Luis Suarez.

Benzema has been linked with the Gunners for most of the season with reports suggesting a potential fee of anywhere between £20-25 million.

Arsenal’s key first team stars have rallied around under pressure German midfielder Mesut Ozil.

Ozil has been struggling for form over the second half of the season, recently returning from injury.

“We need these moments where you can see we've got great players and some great finishers with Lukas Podolski on the scoresheet and Aaron Ramsey back on track, Mesut back on track,” said defender Per Mertesacker.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that midfielder Jack Wilshere could return for the FA Cup final against Hull City on May 17.

Wilshere has been out of action since he picked up an injury during England’s friendly game against Denmark at Wembley.

“He is starting to jog this week. I would think two to three weeks,” Wenger has been quoted.
