Apple has just pushed out the latest update for its mobile operating system which fixes a number of improvements.
One and a half months since the release of iOS 7.1 Apple has now sent out a further update labelled 7.1.1. However unlike iOS 7.1 which saw quite a few fundamental changes and fixes, this latest release only fixes some minor bugs.
iOS 7.1.1 can be downloaded and installed by going to the Software Update option under Settings and then General. Alternatively users can plug their iOS device into their computers and install the update via iTunes.
This update contains improvements, bug fixes and security updates, including:
- Further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition
- Fixes a bug that could impact keyboard responsiveness
- Fixes an issue when using Bluetooth keyboards with VoiceOver enabled
This latest update comes just six weeks before Apple will announce iOS 8 at their annual World Wide Developer Conference. It is expected to include many new features including a fitness tracking app called Healthbook.
