Arsenal's record signing Mesut Ozil made his long awaited Arsenal return in the 3-0 win at Hull, playing 61 minutes.
The German was far from at his best against the Tigers, but it was simply a positive for him to be back in action and returning to match fitness.
Arsene Wenger said after the win at the KC Stadium: "He always has the timing of his pass, the incisiveness of passing makes you always turn quickly from defence to offence. That is of course very important."
Ozil was not quite as sharp as usual, failing to create any goalscoring opportunities, but kept Arsenal's possession moving, as they held 58 per cent of possession.

Ozil's 85 per cent pass accuracy was only bettered by one Arsenal player, Aaron Ramsey (87 per cent), while on a per minute basis he made a pass in the final third once every four minutes.

The German was not fouled a single time by Hull, and from a defensive point of view, made one successful tackle himself.
He helped Arsenal move the ball forward successfully, playing almost a third of his passes forward, with four of them entering the attacking third of the pitch from a deeper position.
As Arsenal seek to keep their advantage over Everton in the race for fourth place, his performance was an assured one in helping them overcome a potential banana skin.
Expect him to take his performance up a notch when he makes his return to the Emirates Stadium next weekend.
