Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has urged the club to sign Javier Hernandez to solve their striker problems this summer.
Arsenal, go and buy Hernandez from United and put him out of his misery. He will score the goals!— Ian Wright (@IanWright0) April 20, 2014
The Gunners have only the unproven Yaya Sanogo and oft-criticised Nicklas Bendtner as back-up to Olivier Giroud, are are expected to strengthen in the striker department in the summer, with the Dane's contract also set to expire.
Mexican striker Hernandez has only been a bit-part player this season, with David Moyes overlooking him in the Champions League for a half-fit Wayne Rooney.
This season he has played 21 Premier League games, butg averaged just over 33 minutes per-appearance when selected.

United have been linked with top striker Edinson Cavani in recent days, whose arrival would push Chicharito further down the pecking order.
Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in the United man, whose future may also depend on whether Robin van Persie forces a summer exit or not.
Hernandez is known for his clinical finishing ability, and compared to Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud he is lethal.
