A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.
Tiago has warned Atletico Madrid teammate Thibaut Courtois to ignore mind games from Jose Mourinho this week.
Courtois could face his parent club tomorrow night in the Champions League when Chelsea go to Atletico for the first leg of the semi-final.
“We all know Mourinho and we all know that if it is necessary to crank up the pressure before a game in order to win it then he will do that - it would have been very cruel for Courtois not to play this game,” the former Blue is quoted by the Daily Mail.
The Telegraph claims Chelsea midfielder Ramires could be banned from the club’s last three games of the season.
The Brazilian appeared to elbow Sunderland midfielder Seb Larsson last weekend, with the incident not spotted by Mike Dean.
The FA could choose to give Ramires the same suspension received for a straight red card in retrospective action.
Chelsea have been warned off making a move for Napoli star Marek Hamsik.
President of the Serie A giants Aurelio De Laurentis has revealed it’s only journalists who have said he’s available for a transfer.
“It’s only journalists who put him on the market. Marek has to come and tell me if he wants to go, but there is no more Neapolitan player than him,” he’s quoted by the Express.
