Photographs have emerged that allegedly show the next version of Apple's iPad Air.
The images show the front panel for the new iPad with what looks like an integrated display, this differs from the current iPad Air model which has the front panel and display as two separate parts.
The current tablet was praised for being as thin as a pencil, but this latest leak suggests that the next generation in the Air lineup could be even thinner than its predecessor. On the other hand it could make more room for other components for example a larger battery that would obviously increase the devices battery life.
Macrumors, a website dedicated to Apple news, spoke with Kyle Wiens, the founder of tech disassembly company iFixit, who said the leak could very well be legit as it looks like it is constructed in the same way as the Retina Macbook Pro's display is.
It is anticipated that the iPad Air 2 will launch at some stage later this year and will feature the TouchID finger print scanner that debuted on the iPhone 5S last year.
