Red Devils striker Welbeck is reported to be considering quitting Old Trafford, according to the Sunday papers.
Reports in Sunday's media alleged that the England international is frustrated at being deployed in positions removed from his preferred central striking role and is mulling over his options.
Welbeck rose through the ranks at Old Trafford but is said to be looking to move further afield with United currently spoiled for choice with their attacking options, with Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Juan Mata all vying with the 23-year-old to lead the line.
Speaking after United's defeat at Everton earlier, Moyes hinted that the Manchester-born marksman, who was used as a 75th-minute substitute at Goodison Park, still has a part to play in his plans but refused to confirm the veracity of the reports.
"Danny Welbeck's really important to me and I really value him. As you well know there's been lots of stories," he told his post-match press conference.
"I can only tell you that Danny Welbeck is really important to me and really important to Manchester United."
