CONFIRMED: Hull City & Arsenal line-ups

Hull City KC South Stand

Here is how Hull City and Arsenal will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Hull City starting XI: Harper, Elmohamady, Rosenior, Huddlestone, Chester, Davies, Meyler, Livermore, Long, Jelavic, Boyd

Subs: Figueroa, Bruce, Koren, Fryatt, Jakupovic, Sagbo, Quinn

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Arteta, Ramsey, Cazorla, Ozil, Podolski, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Flamini, Kallstrom, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Sanogo

This could have been another match that saw Arsenal keep in touch with their fellow title-chasers, and yet it is now one they dare not lose for fear of gifting fourth place to Everton.

The Toffees remain hot on the heels of the Gunners in the fight for a place among Europe’s elite, and a trip to Hull will not be easy for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Mathieu Flamini is back in the squad after a two-game ban while Mesut Ozil has recovered from the injury that ruled him out for the last month.

The Tigers recall Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long who were both cup-tied for the recent FA Cup semi-final win over Sheffield United.

In a rehearsal for the upcoming final of that competition, Hull will know three more points should be enough to secure their top-flight status, while Arsenal just have to keep winning.

What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
