Emmanuel Adebayor has stated that the White Hart Lane faithful deserve a strong end to the current campaign.
Tottenham’s chances of finishing in the top four have all but evaporated, with the club looking set to finish in sixth or seventh this term.
Despite this, a number of players and manager Tim Sherwood could well be playing for their future at the club.
Emmanuel Adebayor has stressed that Tottenham’s remaining four games this season are still important and admitted that he would like to give the Spurs fans something to cheer about.
“As we approach the end of this season, we have to keep our heads right for these last four games and win them for the fans,” the Togo international told the club’s official website.
“We have had some very good performances this season but we have had too many poor ones as well and it’s important we learn from our mistakes next year.
“Against Fulham, we will have a stadium full of supporters who have paid to come and watch us play, who still believe in us.
“It’s up to us to put everything into these remaining games, pick up four wins and give them renewed hope and enthusiasm for next season.”
Adebayor has frozen out by previous boss Andre Villas-Boas but has been brought back into the fold by Sherwood.
The African attacker will play an important role in the North London club’s hopes of finishing in the Champions League next term.
