This summer Arsenal fans screamed out for a new signing - a big name for which they would have to spend big money - and for once they actually got their wish.
Arsenal splashed out £42.4 million to bring in Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid in arguably the club’s most exciting transfer in their history.
The playmaker has however been missing recently. He suffered a hamstring problem against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in March - and has been out ever since.
But earlier this week Arsene Wenger confirmed that he would be making his comeback for the team in due course - and now the player himself has moved to make that as clear as possible.
Ozil demonstrated his readiness for the trip to Hull City tomorrow by taking to social media and posting a picture of himself in training ahead of the game.
Here is the picture in question - which came accompanied with the following message…
I am back. #gunners#afc#behappy
Ozil struggled before he picked up his injury. Perhaps it was the lack of a winter break but for whatever reason Ozil had gone off the boil.
Arsenal fans will be hoping the player they see in this picture is the Ozil they spent so much money on.
