Arsenal strike target admits interest in move to England

Benfica forward Rodrigo has stated that he wants to move abroad in the future.

Although a host of players have been named as potential summer striking additions for Arsenal, Rodrigo is one that has consistently been linked with the Gunners.

The Benfica forward has played his part in the Estadio da Luz outfit’s rise to the top of the Portuguese Primeira Division and progression through to the Europa League semi-finals.

With the North London side thought to be keeping a close eye on the Spanish attacker, he has admitted that a move abroad does appeal.

“I do not know what will happen next year,” he told ESPN Brasil.

“I’d like to play in other leagues, but I really like my club and it would not hurt if I stayed here.”

Benfica’s success this term has not gone unnoticed, with a host of leading European clubs set to sound out the possibility of signing the Portuguese side’s best players this summer.

Rodrigo will be one of those with plenty of suitors and a move to the Premier League could well be on the cards.
