Liverpool sit at the summit of the Premier League after a sensational 3-2 victory over Manchester City last weekend, and the club are now in position to win their first ever Premier League title.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has the fans dreaming, and the title is just four wins away. And Liverpool fans have hung a ‘Make Us Dream’ banner at the club’s training ground Melwood, West Derby.
Liverpool have been in their best form since their 1989/90 First Division title-winning campaign - after winning their last 10 Premier League games and going unbeaten in the league since December.
Should Liverpool win their remaining four games, starting off at Norwich this weekend before hosting Chelsea at Anfield, a trip to Crystal Palace and then a visit from Newcastle, they will be crowned Premier League champions on May 11th.
The dream is so close to being realized now for Rodgers and his Liverpool team – the emotion on display from captain Steven Gerrard at the final whistle at Anfield last weekend demonstrates just how much this title challenge means to the England skipper and the Liverpool team.
Liverpool fans are now daring to dream, and the dream is still very much on.
